I’m Ketsuda Phoutinane, a journalist and editor covering lifestyle and online journalism. I love a good story and asking people lots of questions.

My writing focuses on profiles, food, drink, and design. I am a trends writer at the Daily Record. In other times I’ve been a freelancer, a gin editor, and an online editor.

Minnesota is home. Studying for my undergraduate at the University of St Andrews brought me to Scotland and I’ve been hard pressed to leave. From there, I graduated from City University London with a masters in Magazine Journalism where I learnt shorthand but have only used it in shopping lists since.

My truest loves are cooking, my kitchen, and TV.

I’m fascinated with wine personally and professionally with a Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Wine & Spirits certification with distinction.
